Sex, Sulfur and Ugly Fish

Documentary for SVT. Acidification was an important issue in the 1970s and 80s, but the problem fell into oblivion in the 90s. This film was made to draw the public’s attention to the fact that many Swedish lakes and streams risked dying if we stopped adding lime to them. Actor Stefan Sauk and Army of Lovers member Michaela de la Cour star in this twisted production that mixes humor and facts. As a result, the acidification issue came to the fore and lakes and streams continued to have lime added to them.
